Duaa Haggag, LPC is a Community Educator at The Family & Youth Institute. She holds a Master’s in Counseling and works in private practice as a child, adolescent, and family therapist at Silent Sunlight Counseling. Her counseling experience includes working with youth and their families in both the school and clinical setting. She has extensive experience and training in group therapy for adolescents and play therapy for children. Her interests include child and family development, attachment parenting, and parent education. Duaa has presented workshops on parenting and youth development at the local and national levels. Duaa has been a community organizer for more than 15 years. Her efforts have primarily focused on parenting, youth, education, and human development. She has also actively worked with Muslim youth and families through the Muslim American Society (MAS).
