My wife and I traveled 5 hours from Greencastle Indiana where I serve as Chaplain to be revived. In this small town I am the main Muslim representative but also a spiritual leader for all the religions in my role as Director of Spiritual Life at DePauw University. Not only was I revived, I was able to reconnect with my purpose in life. My revival will help me to help my entire campus, to be the vessel to spread love, peace, good works and good speech. This was my first time attending the Reconnect Conference and I was very impressed. The panel of speakers spoke about issues and topics that are very relevant today, and I loved how they all mentioned the other speakers; that made it very cohesive. We had many personal stories shared, which is such an important way to connect with your audience and have your message resonate with them. IA I would love to come back next year!

Every time I attend one of these conferences, I’m hesitant to leave. The environment that’s created through the sessions and the diversity of programs/activities at the campus is unmatched. Everything was so organized and the program just flowed. I hope to see more conferences throughout the year with even more teachers. May Allah reward all who played a role in making programs like these happen.

My kids and I were absolutely amazed at the MIreconnect program and will definitely be coming back every year! The speakers were Mashallah so inspiring and their delivery of speech was so creative especially with those tougher subjects. It felt amazing to be apart of this greater community and have a sense of belonging as Muslims brought together and united in Islam.
